How the integration works
OneDirectory connects to your Microsoft 365 tenant using read-only Microsoft Graph permissions. It reads user profile information from Microsoft Entra ID and uses it to automatically build an employee directory, reporting lines, and an org chart.
• One-way, read-only sync. Data flows from Microsoft 365 into OneDirectory only. OneDirectory cannot edit or modify anything in your environment.
• Profile data only. Only user profile fields are accessed, never email, files, Teams messages, calendars, or other user content.
• Microsoft-controlled sign-in. Users sign in with their existing Microsoft 365 credentials. OneDirectory never sees or stores passwords.
No pre-configuration required. You do not need to run any scripts, install agents, or make manual changes in Microsoft 365 or Entra ID before setting up your OneDirectory environment. The enterprise application is created automatically when you approve permissions. |
