Single sign-on and automatic sign-in

OneDirectory uses Microsoft SSO; an optional deep-link URL signs users in automatically for intranets and portals.

Written by Greg Bennett

OneDirectory uses Microsoft sign-in (SSO), so people access it with their existing Microsoft 365 work accounts — no separate password.

Single sign-on (SSO)

Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Authentication. There’s no OneDirectory password to manage, and your organization’s MFA and conditional-access policies still apply.

Automatic sign-in (deep link)

An optional deep-link URL automatically signs users in if they’re already authenticated with Microsoft. It’s ideal for placing OneDirectory on an intranet or internal portal for one-click access.

Tip: Contact OneDirectory Support for your automatic sign-in deep-link URL.
