OneDirectory profiles include chat and call links so people can reach a colleague without leaving the directory. Microsoft Teams is set up by default, and Slack or Webex can be configured instead.
For employees
On a profile, use Call in Teams or Start a chat to open Microsoft Teams with that person. If your organization uses Slack or Webex instead, the same call and chat links open your messaging app.
For administrators
Show or hide the chat link in Directory Console → Appearance → Profile using Enable ‘Chat in Microsoft Teams’.
Using Slack or Webex instead of Teams
Microsoft Teams works out of the box. If your organization uses Slack or Webex, we can set this up for you so the call and chat links work the same way they do for Teams. Contact OneDirectory Support to configure it.
Note: Microsoft Teams is enabled by default. Switching to Slack or Webex is configured by OneDirectory Support. |
