You can now view dotted line managers and reports directly in your OneDirectory org chart!
This feature layers beautifully on top of your solid-line structure, giving you a dynamic and interactive view of matrix and indirect reporting lines, without switching tools or tabs.
What you’ll see
A dotted tab appears on any org chart card if the person has dotted line reports.
Hover over the tab to preview who those reports are.
Click the tab to expand and see the dotted reporting lines live on the chart.
Use the Display Options in the org chart toolbar to toggle dotted lines on or off, perfect for customizing views or preparing downloads.
Important:
To view dotted lines in the org chart, make sure you've done the following:
Assign at least one Dotted Line Manager to a profile
Enable Dotted Lines in the Org Chart Display Options toolbar
Why this matters
Microsoft 365 only supports solid-line (manager) relationships. OneDirectory fills the gap by letting you visualize and interact with both solid and dotted line structures in one cohesive org chart view.
