Browsing departments and organizational units

Explore departments and other organizational units, and see who belongs to each.

Written by Greg Bennett

The Departments page — and any other organizational units your organization uses — lets you explore how the company is structured and who belongs where.

Browse departments

  1. Click Departments in the OneDirectory sidebar.

  2. Switch between views — Tiles, Cards, or List.

  3. Select a department to see its members.

Group and sort

In List view, sort departments by a column such as name or the number of people — handy for finding the largest teams or browsing alphabetically. Where the list supports it, use Group by to cluster departments together.

Other organizational units

Besides Departments, your organization may use custom units such as Divisions, Business Units, or Districts. These appear in the OneDirectory sidebar and on profiles, and you can browse, sort, and group them the same way.

Tip: Organizational units are set up by your administrator. The unit type is created in Fields, and the individual units are managed in Structure.
