Yes. OneDirectory keeps itself up to date with a one-way sync from Microsoft 365.

New employees added in Microsoft 365 appear automatically after the next sync (OneDirectory syncs hourly). To pull someone in sooner, run a manual sync.

When an account is disabled or deleted in Entra, the person is removed from OneDirectory on the next sync. If someone has left but their Entra account is still active, you can hide them manually — see How do I remove a former employee?

Edits to synced fields in Microsoft 365 (job title, department, manager, and so on) flow through on the next sync. See Understanding the Microsoft 365 sync schedule.
