How to create domain-specific filtering rules

This guide will walk you through the steps to create these domain-specific filtering rules.

Written by Greg Bennett

You can filter accounts by email domain, so only accounts from specific domains appear in the directory.

Open Filtering Rules

  1. In the OneDirectory sidebar (your live employee directory), click Directory Console at the bottom.

  2. In the Directory Console sidebar, select Data Sources, then open the Filtering Rules tab.

Set included domains

  • In Include specific domains only, enter the email domains to include. Accounts outside those domains are hidden.

  • Separate multiple domains with commas or semicolons — for example company.com, partner.org.

Click Save Filtering Rules to update the directory.

Tip: Leave this empty to include every synced domain; add domains only when you want to restrict the directory to specific ones.
